The Management and Staff of the Kano State Sports Commission have congratulated Hon. Babangida Tukur on his appointment as the Chairman of the Commission by the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
In a statement issued on Friday by the Commission’s Public Relations Officer, Zulfa’at Abubakar Rano, the staff described the appointment as timely and well deserved, expressing appreciation to Governor Yusuf for entrusting the leadership of the Commission to a seasoned advocate of sports development.
The statement noted that Hon. Tukur’s passion, dedication, and commitment to advancing sports make him well suited to lead the Commission at a crucial period in its development.
The management and staff also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the new Chairman, pledging their loyalty, cooperation, and readiness to work with him towards repositioning the Commission and achieving greater milestones in sports development across Kano State.
They expressed confidence that under his leadership, the Commission would consolidate the achievements of previous administrations while introducing fresh initiatives to elevate sports development in the state.
The statement further prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the new Chairman wisdom, strength, good health, and success in the discharge of his responsibilities.
It added that the Commission looks forward to working harmoniously with Hon. Babangida Tukur in advancing the vision and mission of the Kano State
