Katsina State NLC Chair Bags Sarkin Gabas Daura Title, To Be Turbarned Soon

The Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruƙ Umar, has appointed Chairman of the Katsina State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC), Alhaji(Doctor) Hussain Hamisu Yanduna, as the Sarkin Gabas Daura.
This is contained in a statement issued by Hassan Muhammad Tukur Dayi, the Media Adviser to Katsina State NLC Chairman.
Dayi said the appointment was disclosed in a statement signed by the Danejin Daura, Alhaji Abdulmummuni Salihu, on behalf of the Secretary to the Daura Emirate Council.
The statement said Dr Hussain Yanduna, apart from being the chairman of the NLC in Katsina State, is also the Vice President of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria(MHWUN).
It acknowledged the Sterling leadership qualities of Alhaji Hussain Hamisu Yanduna and a good ambassador of the Emirate in the capacities he is serving the nation.
It said the Emir had expressed happiness over the contributions Dr Yanduna had rendered to the Daura Emirate,Katsina State and the country in general.
The Emir also noted the pivotal role Dr Yanduna had been playing in ensuring the good health of the citizens.
The statement then announced that the turbanning of the new Sarkin Gabas Daura would hold “at the appropriate time soon,” and wished him Allah’s guidance and a prosperous tenure.
