    Katsina ADC Governorship Candidate Kaita Condoles With Sabuwa People Over District Head’s Demise

    The Katsina State African Democratic Congress(ADC) governorship candidate, Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita, on Wednesday led a high-powered delegation of the party’s stalwarts,supporters and well wishers to Sabuwa, headquarters of Sabuwa Local Government Area,to condole with the community over the death of the District Head of Sabuwa, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello Kogo.

    A statement by the Ahmad Babba Kaita(ABK) Campaign Organization, Malam Abubakar Ahmed, said the delegation was received by the deceased’s eldest son who is also the Yarima of Sabuwa, Alhaji Bello Ibrahim.

    Expressing his deep sorrow over the traditional rulers’ demise, Sen.Babba Kaita prayed Allah to grant the deceased Jannatul Firdaus and give his family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

    He described the late monarch as a good man who dedicated his lifetime and reign to the growth,development and wellbeing of his people.

    The ADC governorship candidate said even from the testimonies of his subjects, it was evident that the late natural ruler lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.

    He prayed Allah to bring an end to the twin problems of banditry and kidnapping in the state,especially in the areas most affected, including Sabuwa and the nation.

    Responding, the Yarima of Sabuwa, Alhaji Bello Ibrahim, thanked the ADC governorship candidate for personally leading such a powerful delegation to sympathize with them in their trying period.

    The Yarima also prayed Allah to answer the prayers offered and to grant the governorship candidate and all the other candidates their good wishes.

    Other members of the delegation were the party’s Deputy Governornorship candidate, Arc. Aminu Ahmad Yar’adua, Katsina South Senatorial candidate, Sen. Jamilu Mohammad Lion, Hon. Rabilu Musa Dandume, Funtua/Dandume House of Representatives candidate, Barrister U. U Buhari, Hon. Hamisu Garkuwa, candidate for Dandume State House of Assembly, Hon. Halima Umar for Sabuwa State House of Assembly, the State ADC Secretary, other ADC leaders, supporters, admirers and well-wishers from Funtua Zone.
