Chairman of the chapel, Alhaji Murtala Adewale,in his remarks, said the Tea Break was initiated for members of the chapel to relax and unwind after their reportorial rigours.

Adewale also stated that the Initiative was aimed at socializing and strengthening relationships with prominent members of the society, including Senior journalists.

He said the chapel would continue to invite notable members of the public to feature at the Tea Break to “ventilate” their views on various newsworthy issues for members of the chapel to disseminate.

He then disclosed that under his leadership, the chapel would continue to unite its members and carry all of them along in its activities for the progress and development of all.

He said the initiative would also make the journalists socialize and fratanize among themselves and with friends of the profession.

“This gathering is a beautiful idea because its essence is to enable our colleagues to relax and unwind because of the pressure of our kind of work.It will also help us to socialize and fratanize,” he said.
