Guber Campaigns:KMT Not In Agreement With Anyone In Yobe State – Spokesperson

    By Abdullahi Yusuf

The Kashim Musa Tumsah(KMT) movement says it has not entered into any agreement with anyone regarding the ongoing governorship election campaigns in Yobe State.

The clarification is contained in a statement signed by the Spokesperson of the movement, MalamAbubakar Ahmed.

“Since the publication of the Yobe APC list, a lot of false narratives and misconceptions have emerged regarding the position of our Principal, KMT and the KMT Movement.

“We wish to provide further clarification that neither KMT nor the KMT Movement has reached any arrangement or agreement with anyone in Yobe State regarding the Gubernatorial campaigns.

“We have consistently maintained our position that we remain in the APC and will work for the success of the APC, especially in the Presidential elections.

“As for the Gubernatorial elections, we are still awaiting the outcome of the court process before taking a definite position,” Ahmed said.

He, therefore, called on all structures and supporters of the movement across Yobe State and beyond to remain calm and await further information and directives from the KMT Movement Secretariat.

“The general public is advised to disregard any comments, statements, or false narratives emanating from any source other than the KMT Movement Secretariat,” he added.
