    Three Years Of Purposeful Governance: Governor Yusuf Executes Projects Under Kano First Agenda

    Following the successful completion of the third anniversary of our great leader, the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Office of the Senior Special Assistant 1 on Publicity proudly highlights the monumental achievements recorded by this administration from May 29, 2023, to May 29, 2026.
    We join millions of well-wishers across Kano State in congratulating His Excellency on three years of transparency, purposeful governance, and an unwavering commitment to a renewed mandate.
    Since our inauguration, this administration has systematically assessed and analyzed developmental needs across all 44 Local Government Areas (LGAs). The state’s project registry officially records a total of 1,493 projects initiated and approved under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
    We have a Completed of 799 projects have been fully executed.
    And the Ongoing Projects 694 have reached advanced stages of completion.
    Backed by rigorous due process, fiscal discipline, and continuous monitoring, the “Kano First” agenda has successfully restored public confidence. It has translated government policy into visible, life-changing infrastructure.
    In the Sectoral Achievements and Transformations our good leader Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has demonstrated unparalleled dedication to the progress of our dear state.
    Notably, His Excellency holds the distinction of securing the highest vote total among Nigerian governors, a mandate he has validated by delivering the highest volume of projects in the country by a third anniversary.
    Some of our Key milestones over the last three years include the Infrastructure & Urban Renewals.
    The initiation and completion of the Dan Agundi Interchange (Flyover and Underpass), the Tal’udu Flyover/Underpass, and the expansion, reconstruction, and dualization of 5-kilometer rural and urban roads across all 44 LGAs.
    In the Education the Executive Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has declared State of Emergency on education, alongside the mass distribution of desks, uniforms, and learning materials Students and their Teachers and the sponsored of 1,001 students to overseas universities.
    In Healthcare sector Governor Yusuf renovating and upgrading of 311 hospitals across the state.
    In Humanitarian & Social Welfare Governor Yusuf has executed of massive widows’ mass marriage schemes, local councilors projects initiatives, and the constructed of new Juma’at Mosques.
    The prompt settlement of pension backlogs and outstanding payments to former councilors.
    In addition Governor Abba has doubled his efforts inv urban Development with solarization of Kano City, enhanced transit systems.
    On the Commitment to Transparency and Publicity, the Office of the SSA 1 on Publicity commends the administration’s strict adherence to procurement audits and enforced standards. To ensure the public remains fully informed, our team actively conducts regular site visits, recording videos and photographs to broadcast these achievements transparently.
    Through targeted skills acquisition and poverty eradication programmes, Governor Yusuf has fulfilled an estimated 85% to 90% of his campaign promises. As custodians of publicity, this office will double its efforts to broadcast these achievements, reaffirming our unwavering support for the success of this administration as we approach the 2027 election cycle.
    May Almighty Allah continue to grant His Excellency wisdom, strength, and good health as he leads Kano State to greater heights of peace and prosperity.
