Hon. Mukhtar Aliyu Betara, member representing Biu, Bayo, Kwaya Kusar and Shani Federal Constituency, is being commended for executing people-oriented projects that are directly impacting households across his constituency
.
In Bayo Local Government Area, Hon. Betara has constructed a 1,500-capacity stadium to engage and develop youth talent. He also built an office and staff quarters for personnel of the Department of State Services, providing them with a conducive environment to carry out their duties.
Further expanding his interventions in security and public service, the lawmaker has constructed modern police stations across the constituency. To improve emergency response, he has also provided ambulances to support residents in times of need.
During a visit to Bayo and Biu, residents said they volunteered to take journalists round the towns to showcase the projects. One of the most applauded interventions, they noted, is the tarring of roads in virtually every street across Biu, Bayo and Kwaya Kusar.
The reception Hon. Betara received from his constituents reflected widespread appreciation, with many declaring their support for him to return unopposed in the 2027 general elections.
Observers say if more public office holders adopt Hon. Betara’s approach to constituency development, Nigeria would be better secured, more developed, and well-positioned to rank among modern, upgraded nations.
