    *Security Forces Rescue 21 Kidnap Victims, Arrest Four Suspects in Katsina*

    Katsina State Government has successfully rescued 21 kidnap victims during a joint security operation in Dargaza Hills, Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina state.
    In a statement issued by state Commissioner of lntenal Security and Home affairs,Dr Nasiru Muazu said the intelligence operation was led by the Department of State Services (DSS) alongside the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police Force and Community Watch Corps, this led to arrest of four suspects currently undergoing investigation.

    According the statement the rescued victims comprised 16 women, two men and three babies kidnapped from Gidan Sarkin Bayero Village in Musawa LGA and other locations.

    The statement added that 20 of the rescued victims are Christians, while two are Muslims, this shows the indiscriminate nature of banditry and the government’s commitment to protecting all citizens regardless of religion.

    “”The operation particularly targeted the enclave of notorious bandit leader Kamilu Chiroma, also known as Buzaru, in Dargaza Hills”the statement said.

    The statement said successful rescue demonstrates the effectiveness of intelligence-driven operations and the synergy among our security agencies.

    The statement commended the DSS, Nigerian Army, Police, and Community Watch Corps professionalism and courage displayed during the operation.
