MATAN Is Dedicated To Combating Hunger, Malnutrition In Nigeria – Comrade Maizare

A group,Motivation Action Towards Achieving Nutrition(MATAN),says it is dedicating its activities to fighting hunger and malnutrition in Nigeria.
MATAN, which is a Food Bank Foundation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving food security in Nigeria, according to its Head of Media Desk,Comrade Ismaila Ammai Maizare.
Comrade Maizare,who is also a former Chairman of the Kano State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), disclosed this in a media chat in kano.
He said the media session was aimed at creating awareness on the all-important humanitarian projects of MATAN,stating that Eateries would be established at ward and local government levels to cater for the needy.
He said according to its standard operations contained in the directive of the projects National Steering Committee, MATAN daily mandate is to procure,store, process and release food for the feeding programme.
Maizare said MATAN has a leadership structure at ward and local government levels in Nigeria for effective implementation of its programme.
He added that the Founder and Visionary leader of MATAN Food Bank Foundation is Ambassador (Dr.) Olakunle Moses Johnson,who serves as the National President with core focus on grassroot food security, poverty alleviation and Agricultural supply chain automation all over Nigeria.
