    Katsina State NALVEJ Gets New Leadership

    Katsina State NALVEJ Gets New Leadership

    Executive officers of Katsina State Chapter of the National League of Veteran Journalists(NALVEJ), have been sworn in.

    This is contained in a statement signed by Secretary of the league,Hassan Muhammad Tukur.

    Tukur said the oath of office and pledge were administered on the new officials by a state Counsel, Hussain Musa Yandoma, at a brief ceremony held at the conference room of the Department Chieftaincy Affairs, Katsina.

    The new officers sworn in, according to the statement,are:Mansir Lawal Kaware as Executive Chairman and Hassan Muhammad Tukur as Secretary.

    Others include Rabi’u Ibrahim as Vice Chairman, Hassan Bako as Assistant secretary, Umar Isyaku as Treasurer, Muntari Abba Usman as Financial Secretary, Sani Ahmed Fago as Auditor, while Ma’aruf Zubairu became the Public Relations Officer of the League.

    The rest are Lawal Gwanda,Ex-officio one, Bello Mamman,Ex-officio two and Nana Lili, Ex-officio three.

    Speaking shortly after the swearing in ceremony, the new chairman, Alhaji Mansir Lawal Kaware, pledged to discharge the duties entrusted in him with honesty and high sense of responsibility.

    Kaware urged members of the league to uphold professionalism for upcoming journalists and emulate the veterans with the zeal to serve their respective communities.
