Kano APC Stakeholders Reaffirm Loyalty To Ganduje,Laud Tinubu’s Reform Efforts

    By Abdullahi Yusuf

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Kano State on Tuesday reaffirmed their loyalty to the immediate past National Chairman of the party, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

In a resolution issued at the end of their meeting in Kano, the stakeholders also expressed appreciation and continued endorsement of Dr Ganduje’s leadership in the state.

“After careful study of his tenure, stakeholders expressed deep appreciation for the
visionary and exemplary leadership of Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, the
immediate-past National Chairman of the APC, who voluntarily resigned his
    position.

“His tenure was widely lauded for promoting inclusivity, driving key institutional reforms, and strengthening the internal structures of the party,” the stakeholders said in the resolution which was signed by the APC chairman in the state, Prince Abdullahi Abbas.

They listed the achievements under Dr Ganduje’s stewardship to include the establishment of the Progressive Institute, a first-of-its-kind democratic training centre, the
commencement of the e-registration exercise “which marks a significant step
towards establishing a comprehensive and secure digital database of party members
    across the country.”

Others, the stakeholders said, are: the initiation of a Skill Acquisition Programme designed to mpower youths and women with sustainable livelihoods and vocational training, as well as laying of a solid ideological and structural foundation for a more robust
and resilient party in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

    According to them,these milestones have
positioned the APC for sustained relevance and organizational strength across the
    country.

This leadership trait, they said, attracted both national and international recognition,
including commendation from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The stakeholders unanimously endorsed Dr Ganduje as the undisputed leader of the APC in Kano State.

They also pledged their continued alignment with “his people-oriented and progressive vision, which reflects the aspirations of the Kano electorate.”

The Kano stakeholders then commended President Bola Tinubu for his continued efforts and initiatives to address the nation’s socio-economic challenges and expressed readiness to lend their support in achieving the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The meeting also acknowledged and commended the consistent efforts of prominent leaders of the APC in the state, including the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin,Hon.Kabir Abubakar Bichi, Chairman House Committee on Appropriation, the state’s APC governorship candidate in the 2023 elections,
Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, and his running mate,Murtala Sule Garo.

Those who attended the meeting included the Minister of State for FCT, Dr Mariya Mahmud
Bunkure, all members of the State House of Assembly, APC Local Government and Ward Chairmen and other leaders of the party.
