The International Human Rights Commission – Relief Fund Trust (IHRC–RFT), Nigeria Chapter, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the mother of Malam Adamu Ladan,one of its distinguished members, a respected public servant who has held several notable positions across the media and public service sectors.
In a condolence message, the Commission extended its heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, relatives, and associates, describing the loss as a painful moment not only for the immediate family but also for the wider community.
The deceased’s son , Adamu Ladan Chief of staff to Minister of Housing and Urban Development, is widely known for his remarkable contributions, having served as Director of Press under three administrations in Katsina State. He also made significant strides in the media industry as the pioneer Station Manager of Freedom Radio in Dutse, Jigawa State, and Kaduna, as well as former General Manager of Vision FM Kano. He is currently serving as a Permanent Commissioner with the Katsina State Independent Electoral Commission (KTSIEC).
IHRC–RFT noted that the passing of the matriarch represents a profound loss and prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings, grant her eternal rest, and admit her into Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
A condolence message signed by it’s country Director, Abdullahi Bakoji, the Commission also prayed for strength, patience, and fortitude for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
