Ex-Defence Minister Of Defence Badaru Abubakar Leads Members Of Kano Business Community To Governor Yusuf’s Reception Into APC

Former Minister of Defence, Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar,on Saturday led hundreds of members of Kano business community to the reception of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State into the All Progressives Congress(APC).
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf was received into the ruling party by Vice President Kashim Shettima who stood in for President Bola Tinubu,and APC National Chairman,Prof.Yilwatda Nentawe, at a colourful ceremony held at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar, who is also the immediate past Governor of Jigawa State,has for decades, been an established businessman in Kano long before his entry into politics
He led the Kano businessmen drawn various sectors of the economy of the state,to form part of the mammoth crowd that graced the reception.
Clad in white gown with President Tinubu’s symbolic cap to match, Badaru entered the reception venue in company of Vice President Kashim Shettima with his business colleagues following him.
The former Minister was in Babura, Jigawa State,on Saturday were he was received by thousands of supporters in a show of political strength.
Other dignitaries at the occasion included Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas,as well as Governors of Jigawa, Katsina, Sokoto, and Kaduna states, among others.
