Defection Rumour:Gov.Yusuf An Asset To Any Political Party – Inuwa Waya

APC governorship aspirant in the 2023 general elections in Kano State,Malam Inuwa Waya,says Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf will be an asset to any political party in which he finds himself.
Waya made the remark in a statement issued to journalists in Kano on Friday,amid speculations about Governor Yusuf’s possible defection to the APC.
The APC chieftain described Governor Yusuf as an excellent performer whose achievements in office are countless.
Such successes, he said, included his transformation of the education, agriculture, health and infrastructure sectors,as well as in press freedom, financial accountability and urban beautification.
According to Waya, those achievements had earned the governor multiple awards for good governance from various credible sources.
He, therefore,described the ongoing calls on the governor to join the APC as a welcome development that would immensely benefit the party in the state
The former governorship aspirant said if Governor Yusuf joins the APC,he would bring his unique style of political sagacity that would boost internal democracy, unity and cooperation among leaders and followers of the party.
He, therefore,urged all APC stakeholders in the state to put aside personal ambitions and support Abba Kabir Yusuf as the incumbent Governor of Kano State.
