Kwankwaso Lauds Tinubu For Reaching Out To Families Of Late Nigerian Leaders

APC bigwig,Dr. Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso,has commended President Bola Tinubu for keeping in touch with and supporting families of late Nigerian leaders, describing the gesture as “very statesmanly.”
Kwankwaso,in a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Kano on Tuesday, said the president’s gesture portrayed him as a good leader.
“I am very impressed with the way and manner our President,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,is reaching out to and supporting families of our late Presidents.This is commendable and should be emulated by our future presidents.
“The President exhibited this gesture when, among other examples, he recently delegated Vice President Kashim Shettima to visit Sokoto and condole with the family of late President Shehu Shagari over the death of his wife, Hajiya Sutura Shagari, who died few weeks ago.
“President Bola Tinubu had showed another rare gesture by personally attending and participating in the burial of late President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State,and since then,he has been in touch with the family of the late Nigerian leader.
“These strings of gestures by our President goes to show that he is a good and compassionate leader whom should be appreciated by the families of our late presidents,and indeed,all Nigerians,” he said.
Dr.Kwankwaso,who is the Executive Director Finance Hadejia/Jama’are River Basin Development Authority(HJRBDA), also stated that President Bola Tinubu is the only sitting Nigerian leader that keeps in touch with families of his deceased predecessors,”devoid of any political considerations.”
He also lauded the president for naming several places after the late Nigerian leaders, which he said was another feat achieved by him.
The sum total of these gestures,the APC stalwart said,had endeared the President into the heart of Nigerians,and urged the citizens to emulate him by doing good to their compatriots at their own levels.
He then hailed Vice President Kashim Shettima for his continuous loyalty and support to his Boss, President Bola Tinubu.
