The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, alongside the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, on Wednesday paid condolence and sympathy visits to families of deceased persons and some sick individuals in the state.
Among the condolences they extended was their visit to Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo,the APC deputy governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections in the state, over the death of his eldest brother, Babangida Sule Garo.
The sympathy visit took place at the residence of the deceased located at Gidan Kankara in the state capital where they condoled with Murtala and other members of the bereaved family.
Both the APC national chairman and the Deputy President of the Senate prayed Allah to grant the deceased Jannatul Firdous and give the families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
They also paid a sympathy visit to a renowned Islamic Scholar in the state,Sheikh Muhammad AbdulWahab, over his sickness.
Sheikh AbdulWahab who returned from a medical treatment abroad was said to have suspended his routine preachings and other Islamic activities due to the ailment.
Ganduje and Jibrin sympathized with the Cleric and and prayed for his speedy recovery.
Responding,Sheikh AbdulWahab thanked the APC national chairman and the Deputy President of the Senate for the sympathy visit and prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.
He also prayed for the continued unity, peace, progress and development of the country.
Dr Ganduje and Senator Jibrin whom were accompanied on the visits by some top Federal Government officials and the state APC chairman, Prince Abdullahi Abbas, also paid similar visits at Koki, Gwammaja,Na’Ibawa and Kofar Mazugal,among other areas in the city, before returning to Abuja same day.
