The State Commissioner, Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy, Engr. Dr. Gaddafi Sani Shehu, has announced a major breakthrough in resolving the lingering crises affecting the completion of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) line from Kumbutso sub-station to Rimin Zakara sub-station.

Dr. Gaddafi Sani Shehu explained that His Excellency, Governor Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has graciously approved the negotiated settlement of billions of naira covering all outstanding claimants affected by the project.

He added that the Governor has approved the allocation of plots of land to all 750 individuals/households involved in the case.

The Commissioner stated that this development demonstrates the government’s commitment to addressing key issues affecting governance and prioritizing the welfare of its people.

“We thank His Excellency for this generous gesture and pray for Allah’s continuous guidance in his affairs,” he said.

Dr. Gaddafi Sani Shehu also commended the State Commissioner, Ministry of Land and Physical Planning, Alhaji Abduljabbar Muhammad Umar for his support and commitment to achieving the development.

This development is seen as a significant step towards resolving the long-standing issue and ensuring the completion of the TCN station, which will enhance power supply and economic development in the state.

The Commissioner advised the public to avoid building near high voltage power lines to protect lives and properties.

    This is Contained in a
