Service Chiefs:Tinubu Proactive In Tackling Insecurity – Kwankwaso

    By Abdullahi Yusuf

Kano APC chieftain,Dr.Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, has commended President Bola Tinubu over his recent appointment of new Service Chiefs, saying the decision will immensely help in tackling insecurity in the country.

Kwankwaso said in a statement issued to journalists in Kano on Sunday that the appointments were a proactive way of addressing the security challenges bedeviling the nation.

“The recent appointment of the new Service Chiefs by the President is a welcome development as it will immensely help in tackling the lingering insecurity facing the country.

“The gesture also portrays President Tinubu as a leader who listens to the problems, yearnings and aspirations of the citizens and addresses them as and when due,” the APC bigwig said.

Dr.Kwankwaso, who is also the Executive Director Finance, HadejiaJama’are River Basin Development Authority(HJRBDA), described President Tinubu as a good leader who cares for the safety, progress and development of all parts of the country.

“In appointing the new Service Chiefs, the President considered their pedigree of competence, experience and their knowledge of the battle terrain which will enable them to deliver on their mandate.

“To the new Service Chiefs, they should know that, President Tinubu would not tolerate underperformance,he wants results,he wants them to effectively address the lingering insecurity once and for all,” he said.

The APC stalwart then urged Nigerians to continue to support the President in his efforts to address the security challenges, pointing out that the fight against insecurity is a collective responsibility.
