2027: Movement Vows To Deliver Katsina State To Atiku, Kaita

    By Abdullahi Yusuf

The Katsina State chapter of the Atiku/Amaechi Movement has vowed to deliver the state to the African Democratic Congress(ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and the party’s governorship candidate in the State,Ahmad Babba Kaita, in the forthcoming general elections.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Spokesman of Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita Governorship Campaign Organization,Abubakar Ahmed.

Ahmed said the Atiku/Amaechi Movement is a formidable national movement formed by Nigerians of like minds within and outside the country to unseat the current APC led government in the 2027 general elections.

Addressing the movement’s executive members drawn from the 34 local government areas of the state at the Ahmad Babba Kaita Gubernatorial Campaign Office in Katsina, the State Coordinator of the movement, Alhaji Sani Abubakar, announced that the body had been expanded in scope in the state in order to meet up with its coverage and status.

He stated that in Katsina State, the movement would now be known as Atiku/Amaechi/Kaita Movement.

Also while submitting the movement’s letter of introduction to the ABK Gubernatorial Campaign Office through one of the party’s Katsina Central Senatorial aspirants, Alhaji Surajo Aminu-Makera, the State Secretary of the movement, Alhaji Aliyu Ahmad Kurfi said already, the movement is fully established in the state with 20 executive members at the state level whom would run the affairs of the body.

Kurfi further disclosed that there are also 20 executive members in each of the 34 local government areas, one leader for each ward and five persons responsible at each polling unit.

Responding, Aminu Makera commended the movement’s leadership in the state for its foresight and assured of the full support and partnership of the ABK campaign organization in the conduct of its activities throughout the state.

He urged the people of the state to continue supporting the ADC, assuring that Nigerians stand to enjoy better days under the ADC with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as President and governors of the party in all the states of the federation.

Meanwhile, the party has continued to receive various support groups and associations ahead of the official kick-off of the presidential campaign on August 19.
