Over one thousand women are to benefit from a poultry and fish farming empowerment programme, with each beneficiary receiving over five hundred thousand naira, according to the Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi.
Dr. Dan Agundi disclosed this while addressing prospective beneficiaries of the grant.
He stated that, earlier promised to support them with the grant, forms were provided for them to fill for the necessary training.to access the grant
The Director General further explained that upon completion of the training, each participant would receive a financial package of up to ₦500,000 to support their businesses.
Dr. Dan Agundi also expressed appreciation to Engineer Abba Bichi for his support to realization of the program.
The Director General while in the meeting with the Cluster Chairmen and Women Wing, and other Chairmen of various Tinubu Support Groups in Kano State, added that “we must continue to thank Engr Abba Kabir Abubakar Bichi who provided these supplies to be distributed to the groups supporting President Bola Ahmad Tinubu.
Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi appealed to the Cluster Leaders to send a message to the people and to inform them that the process of this journey is a matter of honor and all APC members would be carried along
He further assured that this house is ready to support anyone whom God gives the opportunity to take part in this journey.
He then assured the members of the groups that the distribution empowerment will continue every month as promised.
