The 2027 Kano State Governorship Candidate of the Accord Party, Amb. Dr. Mukhtar Gashash, has called for greater opportunities for Nigerian youths, particularly in employment and entrepreneurship, as the country marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.
In an Independence Day message, Gashash said Nigerian youths should have the opportunity to secure decent jobs, become self-reliant, build families and contribute meaningfully to national development.
He expressed concern that unemployment should not become a permanent feature of a country blessed with a large population of talented and energetic young people.
According to him, the occasion of the Independence anniversary should go beyond celebration and serve as a reminder of the need to build a country where every citizen has opportunities to succeed.
Gashash urged Nigerians to move beyond rhetoric and take practical steps towards building a stronger and more prosperous nation.
He called on citizens to love Nigeria, contribute to its development and work collectively towards securing a better future for the country.
“Let us love Nigeria. Let us work for her. Let us build her future,” he said.
