The Next Frontiers Hub Initiative (NFHI) has reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment, financial inclusion, and sustainable community development following its participation in a high-level stakeholders’ engagement held in Abuja.
The organisation was represented by its Founder and Chairperson, Dr. Fatima Usman Nazir, who joined traditional rulers, financial sector leaders, policymakers, development partners, and other distinguished stakeholders to deliberate on strategies for advancing inclusive economic growth and national development.
The engagement served as an important platform for dialogue, strategic networking, and collaboration on issues relating to poverty reduction, financial inclusion, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.
During the event, Dr. Nazir held discussions with key stakeholders in the areas of Islamic finance, Takaful insurance, and traditional institutions, exploring partnership opportunities aimed at expanding economic opportunities for young people and reducing poverty in communities.
Technical sessions featured presentations on the role of Takaful in poverty reduction, public sector welfare, and Nigeria’s Vision 2030, themes that closely align with NFHI’s mission of promoting economic self-reliance, social inclusion, and community well-being.
NFHI noted that its participation enhanced the organisation’s visibility among major stakeholders while creating opportunities for future collaboration in ethical finance, social welfare, youth development, and community-based initiatives.
A major highlight of the event was the presentation of claim cheques by Crown Takaful to policyholders, underscoring the company’s commitment to customer welfare and its contribution to strengthening financial security within communities.
Speaking after the event, Dr. Fatima Usman Nazir reaffirmed NFHI’s resolve to strengthen partnerships with Crown Takaful and other stakeholders in implementing programmes that promote youth skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, girl-child education and health, peacebuilding, and community welfare.
She stated that the organisation remains committed to its vision of “Empowering Youth, Building Peace, Restoring Lives,” while continuing to forge strategic alliances that will contribute to sustainable development and improved livelihoods across Nigeria.
