The Acting Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Yusuf A. Muktar, has called on staff of the Board and Local Government Hajj Centre Officers to rally behind the interim leadership to ensure the achievement of the Board’s objectives
Alhaji Muktar, who also serves as the Director of Administration and General Services, made the call on Tuesday during a special meeting convened by the Board at its Conference Hall in Kano.
A statement by the Public Relations Officer of the board, Suleiman Abdullahi Dederi says the meeting brought together management staff and Local Government Hajj Centre Officers to deliberate on ways to strengthen coordination and service delivery.
He stressed that unity, cooperation, and mutual support were critical to the success of the Board, particularly as preparations intensify for upcoming Hajj operations. According to him, teamwork, dedication, and a shared sense of responsibility would enhance the Board’s capacity to deliver efficient and effective welfare services to pilgrims from the state.
The Acting Director General further urged staff to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to their responsibilities, noting that collective effort was essential for the smooth conduct of Hajj activities in Kano State.
The meeting also featured interactive sessions, during which participants openly discussed operational challenges and proposed practical solutions aimed at improving service delivery and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders.
The engagement, observers noted, reflects the Board’s commitment to inclusive leadership and continuous improvement in the welfare of pilgrims.
