    The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gwarzo Local Government Area has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to unity, stability, and progressive governance in Kano State, describing the prevailing political atmosphere as peaceful, mature, and development – driven.

    This position was articulated by the former Federal Government Minister of Housing under the Renewed Hope Agenda and Member of the National Executive Council, Dr. Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo, following a high-level consultative engagement with party stakeholders at the Gwarzo Local Government Area Islamic Centre.

    Dr. Gwarzo stated that the calm political climate across Kano State reflects the collective resolve of the people to prioritize peace, cooperation, and inclusive development over divisive politics.

    He emphasized that unity remains the cornerstone of democratic consolidation and the most reliable pathway to socio-economic advancement and improved living standards.

    According to him, the APC in Kano State continues to demonstrate political maturity through dialogue, internal cohesion, and respect for party supremacy.

    Dr. Gwarzo commended party leaders and members in Gwarzo Local Government Area for sustaining discipline, loyalty, and organizational strength at all levels.

    He stressed that responsible politics must remain anchored on service delivery, accountability, and people-oriented governance in line with APC ideals.

    The former minister reaffirmed that Kano State is well-positioned to consolidate economic recovery and infrastructural renewal through sustained peace and purposeful leadership.

    He highlighted the critical role of grassroots engagement in strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring responsive Governance.

    The consultative meeting brought together Gwarzo Local Government Area officials, APC chieftaincy affairs, ward executives, party stakeholders, youth and women wings, and committed party supporters.

    Dr. Gwarzo described the broad participation as a demonstration of confidence in the APC leadership and readiness for future political engagements.

    He announced that stakeholders at the meeting unanimously endorsed candidates under the APC national party umbrella.

    The gathering formally endorsed President Asiwaju Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as the APC presidential candidate, in affirmation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

    Stakeholders also unanimously endorsed Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, FNISE, as the APC Governorship candidate in Kano State for a second term, citing performance, continuity, and inclusive Governance.

    Dr. Gwarzo stated that the endorsements reflect trust in proven leadership and alignment with APC’s national development blueprint.

    He noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda at the federal level complements Kano State’s aspirations for Growth, modernization, and social development.

    The former minister commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his bold economic reforms, commitment to national stability, and focus on long-term prosperity.

    He also praised Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his sustained efforts in strengthening healthcare delivery, revitalizing education, enhancing agricultural productivity, and expanding infrastructure.

    Dr. Gwarzo emphasized that leadership continuity would consolidate gains already recorded across critical sectors of the economy.

    He acknowledged the leadership of the Gwarzo Local Government Area Council Chairman, Dr. Mani Tsoho, describing his administration as proactive, inclusive, and development – focused.

    He commended Dr. Mani Tsoho for fostering synergy between Government institutions and party structures at the grassroots.

    Dr. Gwarzo also applauded the APC Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Area, Alhaji Safiyanu Yusuf Chiroma Kutama, for his effective coordination and commitment to party unity.

    According to him, strong and disciplined party leadership at the local level remains vital for electoral success and democratic stability.

    He stressed that collaboration among leaders, elders, youths, and women is essential for sustaining political harmony and social cohesion.

    Dr. Gwarzo reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to policies that advance education, healthcare, housing, agriculture, and economic empowerment.
    He underscored the importance of infrastructure development, road network expansion, ICT Growth , and industrialization in boosting commerce and attracting investment.

    He noted that Kano State’s vast human and natural resources must be strategically harnessed through unity, planning, and effective Governance .

    Dr. Gwarzo urged youths to engage constructively in the political process and contribute positively to peace and development.

    He encouraged women to continue playing active roles in political mobilization, leadership, and community development in line with APC’s inclusive philosophy.

    The former minister called on party members to remain law-abiding, focused, and committed to democratic principles and party discipline.

    He reaffirmed his personal commitment to supporting initiatives that promote progress in Gwarzo Local Government Area and Kano State as a whole.

    Dr. Gwarzo described Gwarzo as a strategic political and economic hub with significant potential for Growth and transformation.

    The engagement concluded with prayers for sustained peace, unity, and prosperity in Gwarzo Local Government Area, Kano State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

    Participants expressed appreciation for the leadership, vision, and Grassroots engagement demonstrated by Dr. Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo.

    The meeting ended with a renewed collective resolve to strengthen the APC and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for continued stability, development, and national progress.
