The Falconets, Nigeria’s U-20 Women National Team, arrived in Ibadan on Monday, 27 January 2026, ahead of their first-leg fixture against Senegal.
The team’s arrival follows weeks of intensive camping and preparations, as previously reported, including a friendly match that offered the technical crew the opportunity to further assess the players’ fitness levels, tactical understanding, and overall readiness.
The first leg of the encounter is scheduled for Friday, 7 February 2026, at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan, where the Falconets will be aiming for a strong performance against their Senegalese opponents.
According to the Media officer, Zulfat Abubakar Rano, the team will continue with final preparations in Ibadan as build-up to the crucial fixture intensifies.
