Work is ongoing at the Abubakar Rimi Labour Hall, Nigeria Labour Congress, Kano secretariat, Katsina Road.

The project, named after Late Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Rimi, first civilian Governor of Kano State, is getting priority attention.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf awarded the contract for ₦280m, praising Rimi for declaring workers’ day a public holiday.

NLC leaders, the State Executive Council, SEC, comprising Chairmen and Secretaries of the over 40 affiliate Unions, inspected the project and are happy with the progress.

Comrade Kabiru Inuwa, chairman, said they’re confident it’ll be completed soon.
” I am shot of words to thank Governor Yusuf for his continued support to Labour, I like the quality and pace of work” Comrade Inuwa declared.

“I’m impressed,” said Comrade Rabi Abdullahi, women committee chairperson. “The hall is magnificent, and there are offices for our comrades.”
