Sen.Shekarau Mourns Buhari, Says Nigerians Will Miss Ex-President’ Patriotic Zeal, Commitment

Senator Ibrahim Shekaru has expressed grief over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, saying Nigerians will miss his patriotic zeal and commitment.
Senator Shekarau’s condolence message is contained in a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen.
“It is with deep grief and total submission to the will of Allah that I received the news of passing away of our leader, President Muhammadu Buhari, in a London Clinic last Sunday.
“Since 2002 when I joined politics, my close interaction with the late President revealed his strong passion for Nigeria and its people.
“In my engagement with him, people’s interest always superseded any other interest.
“Nigeria and Nigerians will surely miss Buhari’s patriotic zeal and commitment.
“We pray Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannah Firdausi,” the former Governor of Kano State added.
