2027:No Vacancy At Jigawa Govt. House – Sen. Malam Madori

    By Abdullahi Yusuf

Sen.Abdulhamid Malam Madori(APC) Jigawa North East Senatorial zone, has advised governorship aspirants in the state to shelve their plans as the position will not be vacant during the 2027 general elections.

Malam Madori stated this while speaking at a Citizens and Government Engagement Programme in Birniwa Local Government Area of the state.

He counseled fellow members of his party and the oopposition parties in the state to drop their respective ambitions ” because the governorship seat will not be vacant come 2027.”

This,he explained, is because Governor Umar Namadi has “performed remarkably well during his first tenure and deserves to be re-elected in 2027.”

“Let the governorship hopefuls in our great party, the APC,and other parties, shelve their plans because Governor Namadi has done well and deserves a second term in 2027,”he said.

Malam Madori, therefore, urged politicians in the state to rally behind Governor Namadi and support his re-election bid, rather than contesting against him.

“The present Governor, Umar Namadi has done well in his first tenure, therefore no need for anybody to think of challenging him in the 2027 election.

“Governor Namadi deserves to serve his second term come 2027 because of his out standing performance,” he said.

Checks show that no fewer than six politicians within the ruling party APC and the opposition parties are warming up to contest the state governorship position in 2027.
