Sen.Barau Unveils Barau FC Technical Adviser, Players,Vows To Win NPFL

The Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, on Monday unveiled the Technical Adviser of the newly-promoted Barau FC, Isah Ladan Bosso, with a vow to win the next Premier League Championship.
Senator Barau launched the club’s new technical crew alongside new players at a ceremony held at the Amani Event Centre, Kano.
“You are working with passion and dedication, and our ultimate aim, as I said, is to win the league,no more, no less.And I will give you everything,everything that is needed. We shall provide you.
“Because this team is supported not only by me, but by several people.By my children, by my friends, by my associates.And our intention is to take you to the international stage.
“We want to expose you to international football.That is our aim. We are defining our aim.We are defining our objectives, so that you get exposed. Get exposed at the international stage of football.
“So that you can be useful, not only to yourself, but to your community and to humanity at large,” he said.
The lawmaker urged the new players to dedicate themselves to their callings so as to achieve the desired objectives,adding that, “we have seen your pedigree.We have seen your track record, and we know you can do it.”
He said the new signings are among the best in the Nigerian football industry, with some of them recruited from abroad.
“I want to announce to everybody that our new signings are the best of the best in Nigerian football,and some are even from outside the shores of this country.
“So,this team is now preparing to become a continental and indeed an international football team. So, members of the team are not only from Nigeria,” he said.
Senator Barau then gifted each of the 35 members of the team a new motorcycle and the sum of N500,000, with a pledge to do more if they win the Premier League.
“When we got the initial promotion, we gave motorcycle, but this time around, we are going to give motorcycle to each person and the sum of N500,000.By the time we get to the premier league and win the premier league, it will no longer be two wheels, it is going to be four wheels,” he added.
