A Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, has commended the Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, NIM, for his effective coordination and leadership of the Tinubu Support Groups in Kano State.
The Senior Special Assistant said he had closely followed the proceedings of the major Tinubu Support Groups convention recently held in Kano, describing the event as highly impressive and commendable.
According to him, the success of the gathering was in line with the high expectations he had of Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, whom he praised for his commitment, organisational capacity and dedication to mobilising support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He made the remarks during an unscheduled visit to Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, who was at the time holding a special meeting with leaders and representatives of various Tinubu Support Groups in Kano State.
The visit also witnessed the presence of the Federal Commissioner of the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC), Hon. Ginika Florence Tor, who attended the meeting to lend her support and goodwill to the ongoing efforts.
The discussions focused primarily on a review of the major Tinubu Support Groups convention held in Kano the previous week, including its achievements, outcomes and subsequent developments.
The meeting also examined strategies for strengthening and improving the activities of the various Tinubu Support Groups across Kano State, with a view to enhancing coordination, mobilisation and grassroots engagement.
The participants further discussed ways to consolidate the groups’ efforts towards achieving greater political success for the All Progressives Congress (APC) at all levels.
