President of National Union of Civil Engineering, Construction, Furniture and Wood Workers (NUCECFWW), Comrade Stephen Igho Okoro has declaring open the 7th quadrennial Delegates Conference of Kano/Jigawa chapter of the Union which took place at, Kano Hilton Place Hotel.
Comrade Okoro ‘s spoke on the move by the union to check casualization, improve infrastructure, address anti union activities and boost membership drive.
Guest at the occasion include chairman NLC Kano comrade Kabiru Inuwa, District Head of Rimin Gado, Dr Auwalu Mudi Yakasai, representatives of affiliate unions, controller of Labour federal Ministry of Labour, Jigawa Alhaji Murktar Abubakar among others.
The chairman of the Kano(Jigawa of NUCECFWW and Assistant General Secretary, also NLC Ag Secretary, Comrade Hussaini Buda were on hand to ensure success of the conference.
