Minor Surgery:Katsina ADC Governorship Candidate Thanks Supporters, Others For Prayers

The African Democratic Congress(ADC) governorship candidate in Katsina State, Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita, has thanked his supporters and other people of the state for their prayers for his speedy recovery.
Senator Kaita, in a statement issued by the Spokesman of the ABK Gubernatorial Campaign Organization, Abubakar Ahmed,specifically appreciated his party, the ADC for giving him the governorship platform of Katsina State.
Kaita,who recently underwent a minor surgery in a foreign hospital,has been receiving messages of concern from millions of his supporters from within and outside the state.
“I am particularly touched by your goodwill and other encouraging messages for my quick recovery.
“I wish to assure you that the orthopaedic procedure went very smoothly and in the way I responded to treatment, In Shaa Allah, I will be up and running soon,” he said.
He commended other candidates of the party at various levels for their collective efforts to improve the standard of living of the people of the state.
The ADC governorship candidate also commended operators of his campaign office and the Katsina State chapter of the ADC for keeping the party alive throughout the state.
“As we move closer to the official kick-off of of the governorship and state house of assembly campaigns which marks the beginning of full campaigns in the country, I remain confident that the ADC which is the only opposition party with full structure in place, will defeat the incumbent APC government in the 2027 election,” he added.
Meanwhile, all other candidates of the party in the state have been warming up in preparation for the commencement of the campaigns.
