A former member of the All Progressives Congress(APC),Engr. Mansur Ahmed, says
the Kano State chapter of the party may soon experience massive resignations from key political figures and party leaders.
Engr.Ahmed made the remarks in a statement issued to journalists in Kano.
According to the statement which was signed by Usman Bello, the former APC bigwig alleged that the recent resignation of party chieftain, Alhaji Aminu Dabo was “merely the tip of the iceberg regarding the political crisis brewing within the party’s ranks.”
He made the assessment while addressing journalists following his own official resignation from the APC.
He alleged that the APC in Kano is currently plagued by persistent internal feuds that show no sign of resolution in the near future.
According to him, numerous concerned leaders and stakeholders across the state are now concluding final consultations to formally leave the party.
Reflecting on his political journey, Engr. Ahmed—a former PDP governorship aspirant and the 2015 Presidential Campaign Deputy Coordinator in Kano noted that he and his associates are actively consulting with key allies to determine their next political direction.
