Emir Sanusi Visits Bandits-riddled Shanono, Condoles With Victims’ Families

The Emir of Kano, Khalipha Muhammadu Sanusi II, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the victims and families affected by the recent bandits’ attack in Faruwa town in Shanono Local Government Area which claimed several lives.
A statement issued by the Head of Palace Media Team, Sadam Na’ando Yakasai, said the Emir condoled with the affected persons when he visited the troubled area.
The first class monarch prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and give their families the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
During the visit,Khalipha Sanusi urged residents of the area to remain vigilant and security conscious, advising them to promptly report any suspicious activity to security agencies for immediate action.
He also called on the people of Shanono in particular and the state in general to intensify special prayers for the sustainace of peace, unity and stability of the state and Nigeria.
In his remarks, the District Head of Shanono Dankadan Kano, Dr. Bashir Ibrahim Muhammad, thanked the Emir for the visit, describing it as a clear demonstration of the Emir’s concern for the lives and wellbeing of his people.
Dr. Bashir also prayed Almighty Allah to continue to guide the Emir in the steering of the affairs of his domain.
On his part, the Chairman of Shanono Local Government,Ahaji Barau Abubakar, reiterated the council’s resolve to continue to take all necessary measures to address the lingering insecurity in the area.
Abubakar commended the State Government for its efforts and support to end the menace of banditry in the area.
