2027:Tinubu’s Picking Of Shettima Gives APC Full Control Of The North – Kwankwaso

Kano-based APC bigwig,Dr.Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, has applauded President Bola Tinubu’s picking of Vice President Kashim Shettima as his running mate for the 2027 presidential election, saying the gesture has now given the APC full control of the North.
With the decision, Kwankwaso said in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Kano, “every person in Northern Nigeria is ready to re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in 2027.”
Kwankwaso, who is the Executive Director Finance,Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority(HJRBDA), also described the president’s decision as the most delightful gesture to the people of the region.
According to the APC stalwart, Tinubu’s action has effectively dealt a serious blow to the opposition and other critics of his second term bid.
He described the Vice President Kashim Shettima as one of Tinubu administration’s Vanguard of victory in the North whom has used his wisdom to unite the people of the region.
“This is despite the machinations of some disgruntled elements who wanted to use few frictions to cause disaffection among the people of our dear North,” he said.
“We have also seen how Kashim Shettima has been up and doing helping the Government in maintaining a United North and indeed the whole Nigeria.We have also seen how he has been competently representing the President at world stages,” the APC bigwig said.
Recall that President Tinubu had submitted his INEC nomination form to the APC National Working Committee and unveiled Vice President Kashim Shettima as his running mate for the 2027 presidential election,in Abuja.
Tinubu announced this through Ibrahim Masari, his Special Adviser on Political Affairs, who also submitted Shettima’s nomination form during a brief event attended by APC leaders at the Continental Hotel, Abuja.
