The council chairman of kaugama local Government, Honourable Usman masaki Dansule has assured full support to primary healthcare services in kaugama local Government area.
Dansule disclosed this to the staff members of the primary health care development agency kaugama during an advocacy paid to him in his office.
The Primary Healthcare Coordinator for Kaugama, Abdullahi Aliyu Karkana, explained that the visit aimed to secure the Chairman’s cooperation for an upcoming programme.
“We are here to solicit his full support for the selection of children under five and pregnant women who will benefit from free healthcare services.in the area,” Karkana stated.
He further stated that ,the selection of beneficiaries will begin on 10th February 2026, lasting for four days across Jigawa State. Enrollment teams will conduct house-to-house visits and also target specific locations such as motor parks, nursery schools, and Tsangaya (Islamic) schools.
During the meeting, the Primary Healthcare Development Agency also briefed the Council Chairman on the outcomes of a recent immunisation exercise conducted across the Local Government Area.
