The Director General of the National Productivity Center, Dr. Baffa Babba Danagundi, says he was not part of conspiracy to discredit Senator Barau Jibrin, the Deputy President of the Senate, over the long awaited screening of Engineer Abdullahi Ramat as Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).

According to Dr. Danagundi, some persons wanted him to be part of the defamatory campaign against Senator Barau, which he turned down since there was no evidence linking Barau with the allegations.
