The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State has commended party members for the peaceful conduct of its ward, local government and state congresses across the state.
The State Chairman of the party, Salisu Mamman Kadandani, gave the commendation in a statement issued to newsmen in Katsina, describing the smooth exercise as a significant victory for the party as it prepares for the 2027 general elections.
Kadandani said the orderly conduct of the congresses and the peaceful emergence of new leaders reflect the party’s strong grassroots support and members’ confidence in the leadership of Governor Dikko Umar Radda.
According to him, the outcome of the congresses demonstrates unity and internal democracy within the party, adding that it positions the APC for sustained political success in the state.
He expressed confidence that the newly elected state executives, led by Bishir Gambo Saulawa as State Chairman, would deploy their experience and knowledge to consolidate the party’s foundation and strengthen its structures across all levels.
“The new leadership presents an opportunity to reinforce unity among party members, address existing gaps and build a stronger, more cohesive party that will continue to protect the interests of the people,” Kadandani stated.
He called on party members and supporters to rally behind the new leadership and provide the necessary cooperation and support to ensure the continued growth and success of the APC in Katsina State.
