.The All Fermers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) has Commended the federal government for providing fertilizer and seeds at subsidize price to its members.The Chairman of AFAN in katsina state ,Umar Yau Gwajo_Gwajo in an interview with newsmen in katsina said over 300,000 members of the association in the state benefited by the gesture..Gwajo _Gwajo described the gesture as first of it kind and a moral booster to fermers in the state and the country.He noted that the distribution of the fertilizer and seeds will reduce cost for fermers in undertaking farming activities considering the high cost of the items at open market..”AFAN Commend President Tinubu administration for distributing enough fertilizer and seeds to its members.The gesture is moral booster to our members and it will boost food production in the country””.” Gwajo _Gwajo said.He also said the association appreciate the assistance given to its members by katsina state government .He said members of the association were given tractors, fertilizer,seeds,solar water pumping machine and, thrillers by administration BB of Governor Dikko Umar Radda.He assured that the members of the association will continue to support policies and programmes BB of the government especially in the area of agricultural sector for the development of the country.
