The Executive Secretary of the Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA), Dr. Rahila Aliyu Muktar, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of two members of the Kano State House of Assembly, describing their passing as a painful and irreparable loss to Kano State.
The deceased lawmakers are Honourable Sarki Aliyu Daneji, who represented Kano Municipal Constituency, and Honourable Aminu Sa’adu Ungogo, member representing Ungogo Local Government Area.
In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, Dr. Muktar said the news of their passing was received with shock and profound sadness, noting that Kano State has lost two dedicated legislators who committed their lives to public service and democratic governance.
According to her, the late lawmakers were known for their passion, humility, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of their constituents, adding that their contributions to legislative duties and state development would be remembered for years to come.
“Their death is not only a loss to their immediate families and constituents but also a great setback to the Kano State House of Assembly and the entire people of Kano State,” she said.
Dr. Muktar extended her condolences to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, and all members of the Assembly over the loss of their colleagues. She also sympathized with the people of Kano State, describing the late legislators as true representatives of the people.
On behalf of the Management and staff of KSCHMA, the Executive Secretary prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant them eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus. She also prayed for strength and patience for their families, the state government, and the people of Kano to bear the loss.
Dr. Muktar further prayed for continued peace, unity, and stability in Kano State, urging residents to remember the late lawmakers for their service and dedication to the state.
