“We, whom are at the center of the Agricultural venture because of our roles in ensuring smooth water supplies to farmers, are the rightful people to showcase what President Tinubu has done in the last three years,” Kwankwaso said.
He said a lot of farmers have immensely benefitted from the Federal Government’s programmes that had made their agricultural activities easy and boosted food production and reduced prices of foodstuff in the country.
“It is no gain saying that today the price of rice has dropped from over N100,000 a bag to a little above N50,000.This magic would not have been possible without the intervention of the Tinubu administration.
“The Forum will work in harmony to ensure that across Nigeria over 20 farmers whom have benefitted from the Tinubu transformational programmes vote for the President to enable him to secure a second term in 2027,” Kwankwaso said.
He disclosed that the Federal Government had through the States which are at the center of food security, distributed fertilizers to millions of farmers.
“In Kano State for example,Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has secured hundreds of tones of fertilizer and has distributed them to farmers at very subsidized rates.
“This gesture is the same across Nigeria, and that is why farmers are ready to come out en masse to vote for President Tinubu and his Vice,Senator Kashim Shettima, and all the APC governorship, senatorial, house representatives and state houses of assembly candidates,” he added.
